New Stamps...

New stamps have been coming in from Rubber Soul and Inkadinkado. Below is a card that I made from the "Lemonade Stand" and "When life gives you lemons" stamps from Rubber Soul.

Here is a close up where I added some Stickles to the lemons...

Now the inside saying was printed on my computer. The way things have been going lately, I could really use a pitcher of margaritas!

Changito graduates

My friend Kelsey just graduated from Villa Maria and is on her way to Los Angeles, CA for fashion school! I tried to use Villa's school colors for her graduation card.

I used my JustRite stamps for the 2009 on top of the books and Cuttlebug "Congrats" for the background.

Cheers for Changito

I needed to make some "fun" type of Birthday cards for some summer birthdays coming up. Good thing Changito seems to be gender neutral!

I used some of the Doodlebug green glitter for the pom-pom to sparkle it up a bit. I made the bullhorn polka dotted by using the masking technique.

If you stamp onto a scrap piece of paper and cut out very close to the line it looks like you actually colored it that way! Just cut it out and stick it onto your stamped image.

New products

Just in time for graduation cards and scrapbook pages are more custom school papers. Some of the schools in stock now are....
Penn State, McDowell, Fairview, Girard, Harborcreek, Grover Cleveland, Villa Maria, Strong Vincent, North East, Iroquois, and General McLane. I even have some Pittsbugh Steelers and Cleveland Browns paper too!

A new line from My Mind's Eye called "Just Dreamy" arrived a couple weeks ago. This line has 40 different papers with tons of matching embellishments.

Doodlebug just released way too many cute stickers and papers. There are Zoo and Jungle themes, Nature/Camping, Birthday, and summer fruit like Strawberries and Cherries. Too adorable to pass up!

My Super Hero!

In the theme of Father's Day I thought this cute pup from "The Cats Pajamas" would be perfect. I have a new clear ruler from Tim Holtz that doubles as a paper piercing template so you can pierce holes straight and evenly spaced.

For this card I pierced every other hole. Its a nice effect when you just need to add a little something. Here is the link to the YouTube video that shows the ruler in action...

Fergie

I have been carrying the "Fergie" frog stamps for a while now but just hadn't gotten the chance to use them yet. I was inspired to use him with the "Distressed stripes" Cuttlebug folder thanks to my blogger friend Michelle (Thanks Michelle!)
The distressed stripes folder is new to the shop for those of you that have almost all of them!

Pink Elephants

A new line of paper from "My Mind's Eye" recently arrived, its called "Just Dreamy" and the cardstock is so pretty. They have tons of cute frames and embellishments to match. I have been wanting to use this Hero Art stamp set with the elephants and was inspired by this pretty pink gingham paper.

I stamped the elephant on the cardstock and trimmed very closely to make him look checkered. I used the Labels 1 Nestabilities to cut and emboss the background.

New stamps

New stamps have come in from Stampendous! I ordered new ones and reordered a few favorites too. This Changito stamp was originally a St. Patrick's Day one. I thought I would change it up a bit to keep him around all year...

Here is what I originally used him for...

He was too cute to store away until next March so I just placed a Prima flower over the shamrock.

Lime Rickey

Some of the new "Lime Rickey" Basic Grey papers and stickers are starting to arrive...

I loved these cute & funky birds, they go great with the stamped saying "a little birdie told me..." I have been using a lot of fat ribbon lately too.

Hang on to you

I was dying to play with this stamp so I figured I would work ahead on a Father's Day card for my husband. This little Changito actually reminds me of my youngest son Tyler, because he will hang on your leg just like that!
I love to make masculine cards because I can use cute embellishments like the brads that look like screws. Its hard to tell, but I used the plain rectangle nestabilities and embossed around the edge. It was difficult to refrain from using the scalloped Nestabilities!!

Just {Plane} Cute

I had a little spare time today after cutting paper for classes so I wanted to do something I rarely get to do for myself... Scrapbook!

I worked on some little boy pages that I will be able to fill easily with pictures. I used paper and Chipboard stickers from Creative Imaginations.

I also used "Thickers" for the lettering, ribbon, and lots of pop dots!
I am starting to get pretty handy with the craft knife. I was happy that these pages turned out just "plane" cute!

Copic marker sale!

I am offering a sale on the Copic set of 12 markers.
I use them alot for coloring my stamped images in my cards that I post. I love them because you can color without leaving all those streaky marker lines and you can blend colors together (which I am not that good at yet...)

My sale price is $39.99

The perfect entry level marker- great color selection, lower price! Ciao markers feature a super brush nib on one end and a medium broad nib on the other. The alcohol based inks are permanent, non-toxic, low odor and acid-free. They will not damage paper when blending and layering colors and can be used on many surfaces such as paper, leather, wood, plastics and more. Ciao markers have a 3-year shelf life and are guaranteed for color consistency.

This set has 12 great colors to start your collection with. I have 3 sets in stock right now so just call or email me if you would like me to hold one of these for you.

Morning Meadow

I needed some quick and easy thank you cards to send out. Since the weather is supposed to be nice around here, I felt like making some spring colored cards.
I used the Pebbles Inc. duplicate stickers... perfect for card making! I also just got in some beautiful satin ribbon in a few colors. The paper was from SEI's Morning Meadow line and I used the matching buttons as an accent.
